You might be asking, “What the hell is a mini brand, and why wouldn’t I just invest in the full thing?”
That’s a wonderful question — and I’d love to answer it for you.

When I started my business, I had absolutely no way of investing in my own branding (yes, I’m a brand designer, but every designer will tell you that you’re your hardest client, lol). As a brand new business owner, I would’ve cried happy tears if someone had offered to help me create a cohesive brand at a fraction of the cost of a full brand experience.

Full brand experiences can range anywhere from $3K to $15K and up, depending on the designer’s experience level. That’s a pretty unrealistic cost for new business owners who already have a laundry list of expenses when starting out.

Let’s paint a picture.

Imagine a brand new coffee shop getting ready to open in the new year. It’s October 2025, and their launch date is January 1st. They’ve checked almost everything off their list:

✅ High-grade espresso machine

The list could go on, but here’s the thing: a lot of people forget about branding as one of their launch priorities. They think, “Oh, I’ll just make a quick logo once everything else is done.” Then suddenly it’s three weeks before opening, they’re overwhelmed, and they have zero time to create a logo.
